In 1991, the Berlin subsidiary opened fired by the pioneering spirit to establish infrastructure planning as a core competence at Schüßler-Plan. At that time, the key transport projects were Deutsche Einheit (German Unity) and the revival of the Berlin local transport system. These projects represented a dynamic boost to the company and gradually expanded our range of services. Today, our planning and management services for transport systems and civil engineering works also include structural engineering and general planning projects, such as the new Berlin airport in Brandenburg (BER).

No matter how people travel to Berlin or what the occasion is, they will always come into contact with a project planned by Schüßler-Plan in the region. We’re very proud of this. The commitment of our staff and our regional presence for our clients and partners are just as important for project implementation as our capability to seize opportunities and constantly develop ourselves, for instance, by implementing new planning methods and technologies. We have hardly any projects that are handled by only one department. What makes us strong is the way we collaborate across departments and locations and, of course, the knowledge transfer that this involves.
